Building a startup as a founder to scratch one own itch is the best of the best way to start a startup
Starting a startup has become a trend.
Once upon a time startups were built out of passion towards solving a problem that the founders themselves faced and weren’t able to find a significant solution.
Then the founders who believe in a similar idea gather together to build out a solution to address the huge markets that might have a similar problem to which the product can address.
These are the ideal kind of founders.
These days with startups getting the limelight and media talking about the fundraisers, individuals have started to think that it’s a get quick rich opportunity.
Founders who start-up for the wrong reasons are gonna end giving up soon after starting up.
That’s the trend.
Investors who look for startups passionate founders going after solving a problem that they deeply rooting to provide their solutions to the world are the kinds of founders who are sought out by the investors.
One of the best early startup stories that I resonate with writing this piece is BimaPe. Rahul Mathur, Founder of BimaPe has himself faced issues with not so effective way of insurance management and the proper knowledge of insurance. Then he set out with BimaPe.
As a founder, building something with a purpose would gain a lot of support from the ecosystem, investors, and future employees.
In short, Founders who Scratch their own itch are gonna be the best of the best bets for an investor.
There’s nothing wrong with copying the western models. Which I would discuss in a complete new titbit. But this is my take about building something purposeful in life as a Founder.
